Hi! I’m Aruka Sanchir—a writer, editor, and creative strategist with a passion for storytelling that connects, inspires, and delivers results.
My career began in local journalism, where I interned at a daily newspaper covering arts, culture, and public interest stories. I also served as a Communications Manager at Colorado State University’s Asian Pacific American Cultural Center, where I created campaigns, managed outreach, and developed a deep appreciation for mission-driven communication. Since then, I’ve focused on the editorial and marketing fields—most recently as a Marketing Copywriter and Digital Strategist at Market Performance Group, crafting social-first brand content for brands like CVS, Neutrogena, and Sprouts. Prior to that, I was the Senior Digital Editor at VegNews Magazine, where I led a team of writers, curated and wrote content for an audience of over 5 million, and significantly grew social engagement through thoughtful storytelling.
I’m a collaborator at heart, combining creativity with data, SEO, and strategy to shape content that resonates. Whether I’m scripting social media videos, writing web copy, editing features, or shaping brand messaging, I approach every project with a blend of curiosity, strategy, and meticulous care.
My life’s journey has taken me from coffee shops in Paris to serene beaches on the Mendocino coast, and that sense of adventure and appreciation for new experiences, beautiful scenery, and people’s unique stories is reflected in all my work.
